Mohammed is a Council Member on the General Pharmaceutical Council, has a combined strategic and operational portfolio role at NHS Digital, including Pharmacy Code4Health, strategic engagement with Digital Health Enterprise Zone (@DHEZ), delivery of Summary Care Records and is the national Clinical Lead on Integrating Pharmacy across Care Settings Programme.
Mohammed is a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and an Honorary Member of the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK. He is a member of the External Advisory Board at the University of Bradford and an Employability Mentor at DeMontfort University.
Mohammed is a keen advocate of social media, he likes to tweet (@EPSpharmacist) and was one of the co-founders of #Pharmacy24, an international twitter event to promote pharmacy that had 20million impressions in a single day on March 24th, 2016.
Mohammed is a strong advocate for equality and diversity, with a passion for addressing structural biases and helping redesign systems to achieve equality by design. He is a mentor and sponsor to many and has just completed his Masters with a dissertation on “Leadership for diversity”.
